Verify a pilot
Someone says they're a WRx365 Verified Drone Recovery Pilot? Check by business name, pilot name, phone number or partner code.
What "Verified" means
- We checked the pilot's FAA Part 107 remote pilot license and FAA drone registration.
- The pilot agreed to follow their state's drone recovery rules, get landowner permission and keep your location private.
- "Insured" means the pilot sent us a current insurance certificate.
- Reviews come from hunters who contacted the pilot through WRx365.
Pilots are independent businesses. They set their own prices and hours. Drone recovery is only listed where state rules allow it: Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Missouri, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, West Virginia and Wisconsin. Rules change, so check your state's current regulations before you call.
Before you call
Mark where you shot and where you last saw blood. Back out quietly and don't push the deer. The fresher the trail and the less it's been walked, the better a thermal drone can find it.
The WRx365 app builds your blood trail plan, tells you how long to wait for your hit, and sends your track straight to a pilot. Get it on Google Play or use it on the web at whitetailrxtools.com.
